Soldiers returning from combat in the Middle East with post-traumatic stress disorder can opt for some alternative forms of treatment that include acupuncture.
The Warrior Combat Stress Reset program located next to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, one of 16 in the military, has a three-week intensive, highly structured program designed for those who want to stay in the Army after beating PTSD.
Its emphasis is on helping to calm the mind, body and spirit after returning from a combat zone.
