Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused when the median nerve that travels through the tunnel between the wrist bones is compressed by tendons that run through the same opening. This syndrome is usally caused by repetative operations by the hands that cause cumulative trauma to the area.
